customisation or purist? Empty customisation or purist?

well in the lead up to my new arrival that being the endof the month whe the allegro comes homes from up north, i have been pondering the thought of customisation or leaving it pure?

My thought at the minute are towards a nice paint job ad some nice alloys not a pimp my ride motiff but more to make it stand out!
If i had a real special like a eqiupe or limited edition i dont feel like that it would be worth jazzing her up but as its a run of the mill car i think that individuality maybe the way forward?

So any thought?

any custom work is personal and unless your copying a factory race car almost worth less to an orginal car. Just my view

the only custom bits i would do is the ignition making it electrical but do it in away that it easy to put back to standard if it failed this just my view Smile

i think its a personal thing but i like the look of an individual car and thinks its the reason i like older cars my maestro has had some tasteful changes including alloys mg ofcourse interior, door cards, and where possible i want to use rover/austin parts hense the trying to source alloys that will fit the allegro!

Hi,

I've just got my VDP, which needs beautifying to say the least, and i wondered if you still have he car, and what you've done to her?

Have you found any compatibility with other Austin models etc?

Cheers,

Jim
