Allegro sill covers wanted please!
Hi my "complete" 79 VP turns out only to have 1 plastic sill trim with it, (it's partially stripped)
I've got a N/S one, does anyone have a O/S one they're willing to part with? Or even a pair...
Also looking for a N/S headlamp, windscreen washer pump with pipe and reservoir lid, and 1 jet... They've been robbed
If anyone can help me out I'd be obliged, drop me an email or text

Thanks

Re: Allegro sill covers wanted please!
Hi Davie,
Can't help with cill covers i'm afraid as mine is series 1 and quite different part altogether. I will check in my dads garage as he's quite a stash of old BL, mostly Allegro stuff to see if there's any of the other parts you want there. I know I've got a washer bottle and pump someplace, however I don't have the cap as it's usually fixed to the jet pipe and I know the pump is siezed (why I changed it).
Also, is the round rubber mounting for the pump missing as well, just so I know when I'm hunting through Dad's garage
Andy.

Hi Andy, all I have is bottle and wires for pump... No mounting either lol
If you come across a headlamp too that'd be cool!
Think in sorted for sill trims hopefully
Cheers

Re: Allegro sill covers wanted please!
Hi Davie,
Found a bottle amazingly complete with lid in amongst my dads 'stash'. No pump though, only one I have pops fuses and there's no way of getting into them either to fix. I'll carry on hunting for pump/mounting over the weekend as only had an hour spare yesterday. I'll check for headlamps too, although the reflectors are likely to have deteriorated by now. I'l let you know what I find.

Re: Allegro sill covers wanted please!
Bump!
I thought I had a pair of sill trims, but they guy sold them to someone else as it took me a month to get in past for them ( we live 500 miles apart)
So back to square 1:-(
I really need to find these soon or im goin to have a lot of work tidying up the sills, as the previous owner had a go at welding them up, not pretty, but solid
Better if he'd left them alone, or even not lost a cover!

Ah!! You jogged my memory, with all the excitement of getting my 'old girl' through MOT and on the road I forgot this thread. I do still have the reservoir bottle, lid, and a jet too. I have found several headlamps but the reflectors are deteriorating a bit. Might do a turn I guess but i'll post up some pictures on this thread so you can take a look.
Cannot help with sill covers, only type I have found are series 1 and quite different. Try e-bay, there are usually whole cars being broken up for spares you might find some there.

Re: Allegro sill covers wanted please!
Hi Andy, thanks for that!
Tbh all I really need is a bulb holder for headlamp, someone's robbed it, the actual headlamps ok, so if you've got one of them that would be great
Would you be willing to post them? If so could you give me your details, and price incl postage, PayPal or cheque etc
Best regards

Hi Davie,
Is it the die-cast alloy bit of the headlamp that holds the bulb, or the elecrical 3 way connector you need? Got both here, the die-cast bit is attached to a reflector but looks like it will come apart easily. Do you still need the windscreen washer bits or are you sorted with them now?
