Just noticed this - Captain Scarlet was one of my very favourite TV programmes in my youth, and the car was well cool, I did have one, but I don't remember it being white, I seem to recall a lot of red??
It might even still be at my parents house being neglected by my nephews I shall enquire.
The Allegro story is fascinating, it could have been so much more streamlined and futuristic, but then again would the staid British public lapped it up?
Who knows now?
I imagine if someone chopped and lowered it, hotrod style, you'd have a really good looking car (not that it isn't already, but you know what I mean )

...I think both of those 2 would of worked, top one looks a bit Peugoet crossed with Princess at the front, bottom one looks a bit Scimiter crossed with Mk1 Triumph 2000/2500 ...ive not seen those 2 pre-prod photos before, only the others
